Products

We offer a number of products based on our exfoliated graphite nanoplatelets. These nanoplatelets - we call them xGnP™ brand graphene nanoplatelets- are small stacks of graphene sheets made through a proprietary manufacturing process. These platelets can be produced in sizes ranging from 1 micron to 25+ microns in diameter and with various surface treatments.

  • We supply our xGnP™ brand graphene nanoplatelets as a dry powder or as a dispersion in water or organic solvents. Particle diamters ranging from 1 micron to 25+ microns are available.
  • We supply our xGnP™ brand graphene nanoplatelets mixed with resins, thermoplastics or elastomers to form composite materials with unique characteristics. We specialize in producing composites that are electrically or thermally conductive or that have very good barrier properties. In addition to these properties, our particles normally improve the mechanical properties of the materials they are used with.
  • Newly available! We now supply our xGnP™ brand graphene nanoplatelets with a surface-coating of nanoparticles from a variety of metal, metal oxide and semiconductor compositions ranging from 1 to 5 nm in diameter and at compositions up to 60 w%.

We Supply Most Common Polymers in Masterbatch Formulations

We work with major compounders to supply xGnP™ brand graphene nanoplatelets in high-density masterbatch formulations. You don't need to worry about complex surface chemistry, dispersion, adhesion, or high-energy mixing techniques. Nor do you need to handle dry nano-particles. Depending on the matrix material, we supply masterbatches with densities of 15 - 30 wt% that can be stepped down by a factor of five to ten at your facility.

We can supply dispersions of xGnP in the following materials:

  • Thermoset resins
  • Thermoplastic resins
  • Elastomers

Please contact us to discuss your specific needs in detail.

We Engineer Polymers to Meet Specific Requirements

Our scientists have been testing xGnP-based polymers for years. We can formulate composites of common matrix materials to meet specific needs in areas like:

  • Electro-static Dissipation (ESD)
  • Electromagnetic and Radio-frequency Interference (EMI/RFI) applications
  • Thermal conductivity
  • Improved Impermeability (gases, fuels, solvents)
  • Improved mechanical properties like stiffness or surface toughness

Please see about xGnP for some of the technical data regarding these various property enhancements.
